I am learning to
- add some detail to my writing
- choose words to make my writing more interesting
We wrote about about a Kapa Haka Performance that we watched in the auditorium during Māori Language Week. First we wrote 2 sentences and then the next day we added some more writing to make our stories more interesting.
"I like to write about my friends and my family. I sound out the words that are hard to write. I can use the big alphabet cards to help me spell interesting words."

Your stories are wonderful to read. Try and remember to use your senses to add more detail to your writing. What did you hear? Feel? See? Touch? Taste?
